First time staying at this Hyatt brand. Very nice hotel with a reasonable rate in downtown DC. Highlight was the included breakfast. Only downside was the tight area around the bed. modern, clean, and friendly staff.

I stayed at Hyatt Place Washington Dc/White House for transit during my travel. The hotel's convenience to Reagan National Airport impressed me, as it is only about 20 minutes driving or 25 minutes by public transportation. its location, being a 5-minute walk from McPherson Square, made it easy for me to explore nearby attractions.
The hotel's breakfast consisted of only room temperature items and no cooked foods, and there was no room cleaning service until check out. I found this to be a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience.

the room was clean and comfortable with all the essentials. the location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the main tourist sites and the metro. the security service was reliable, and the check-in and check-out process was simple. the staff were friendly and helpful. overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Picture this – mouthwatering pizzas at Ellipse Rooftop Bar, savoring bites at Rare Steakhouse, and tastebud adventures at Joe's Seafood Prime Steak & Stone Crab. Plus, primo location near Georgia Brown's and Mazi. The cozy bed and friendly staff are cherries on top.
The room temp played hot potato, coffee setup missed creamer, and breakfast pancakes could double as frisbees. Despite clogged shower heads and cracked light switches, the vibe remained superb, like a dim sum dumpling with a diamond in the rough.

The room was decent sized, but the odd use of space in the entrance area left me feeling like it was a wasted opportunity for comfort. However, the room had a great feature where I could open the blinds to let in natural light, which is always a plus. The hotel's over the aircon system was a nice touch, allowing for a comfortable temperature throughout the stay. However, the price of $360-$370 per night seemed quite steep for the overall quality of the room.
The hotel did not live up to the "Hyatt" name. It seemed more like an average Quality Inn or Best Western than a higher quality hotel like you think of when you hear the brand Hyatt.

During my stay at Hyatt Place Washington Dc/White House, I found the location to be very convenient for transit. The hotel is only 350 meters from McPherson Square and just 2.8 km from Washington Union. the proximity to Reagan National Airport was a major plus, as it was only a 20-minute drive or 25 minutes by public transportation, making my travel arrangements seamless.
The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the lack of baggage storage facilities at the hotel. This was unexpected and a bit inconvenient, but overall, it did not significantly impact my stay.

Conveniently located in downtown D.C., the hotel offered a clean and spacious room with accessible features. The attentive staff, delicious breakfast, and proximity to landmarks like the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and Dupont Circle made our stay enjoyable. The garden area provided a relaxing space, and the TV room was a cozy spot for family bonding. My son and I had a great time exploring the city and unwinding at the hotel.

Convenient location near White House and Metro. Good breakfast options, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Helpful porter assistance with luggage.
Rooftop terrace not accessible, views disappointing.
-
Jack
Loved the rooftop bar with stunning city views, and the convenient 24-hour fitness center. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the White House and other attractions.
Oh, who needs housekeeping anyway? It's totally fine to pay top dollar for a room and not have it cleaned or the bed made.
